Xu Hong Dou, a city woman working in the hotel industry, is thrown into turmoil after the death of her best friend. Overwhelmed by work and grief, she retreats to the peaceful rural village of Yun Miao, near Dali, in search of solace. As she adapts to the slower pace of village life, she connects with fellow city dwellers who are also seeking tranquility.

There, she meets Xie Zhi Yao, a local who gave up a high-paying job to focus on promoting tourism in the village. Using her skills and expertise, Xu Hong Dou helps him grow his business, all while an unexpected romance begins to blossom between them.
