Set in a distant past, an old man in Baranasi has two daughters: the graceful Khanittha and her younger, less admired sister, Khanitthi. Wherever they go, Khanittha’s beauty draws all attention, stirring deep jealousy in Khanitthi’s heart.

When a wealthy young man named Bhatika falls in love with Khanittha and proposes marriage, Khanitthi cannot bear it. She begs her father to let her marry Bhatika as well. Though Bhatika is wealthy, he’s also miserly and continues working to maintain his fortune. Desperate to win his affection, Khanitthi joins the household, but Bhatika remains devoted to Khanittha, ignoring her completely.

Both sisters give birth around the same time—Khanittha to a daughter named Ueai, and Khanitthi to Ai. As the years pass, Khanitthi’s envy deepens. In a desperate move, she visits a shaman to cast a charm on Bhatika. The shaman’s followers, Chaem and Chom, reveal that Bhatika keeps a secret hoard of gold. Tempted by greed, Khanitthi agrees to the spell—under one condition: Bhatika must never drink alcohol.

Under the curse, Bhatika transforms into a cruel, abusive man. Khanittha struggles to protect her children from his violence. As time goes on and the household staff flee, all responsibilities fall to Ueai and Ai. But Ueai finds strength in her loyal friends—Ji, Ueng, and Klin—who stand by her and fight back when she is wronged.
